Children & Young people

The Youth Partnership has evolved from the previous North Prospect Youth Forum and now acts as the Youth Development Theme Group for the North Prospect Partnership. The Youth Partnership is made up of many members and supporting agencies who are committed to upholding the aims and objectives of the Youth Partnership and as such will work together to support young people and organisations that work with young people in North Prospect and the surrounding areas.

What are we doing now?

The Youth Partnership is working on a strategy and an action plan that will develop the existing youth provision in the area, according to local need. We have undertaken some consultation for local residents and young people to tell us where the gaps are. We are currently working to address these needs. A feasibility study has also been carried out for a 'Youth Works Project' for North Prospect that will be facilitated by the Youth Partnership. The Youth Works Project will provide young people in North Prospect with the skills and opportunities to develop their personal skills, reduce crime and improve their social, physical and economic environments through vibrant programmes and activities.
